International admissions

Applicants who hold a non-Turkish citizenship or completed secondary education abroad apply directly to the university and do not sit Turkey's national YKS placement exam. The published route is: submit the online application form with documents and programme choices (one application per term, with the required documents uploaded), have it reviewed by the Admissions Office within three working days to a maximum of one week, receive an Offer Letter, then pay a non-refundable deposit that is deducted from the tuition fee to obtain the Final Offer Letter. Final registration is completed in person in Türkiye with original diplomas and transcripts plus Turkish notarised translations, after which the student certificate is issued and a student residence permit can be applied for. The site states that applications are assessed on a rolling basis rather than in a single national round, and that undergraduate programmes have a Fall intake only while graduate programmes have Fall and Spring intakes.

• High school diploma with official translation; original diploma plus Turkish notarised translation at final registration
• High school transcript (grade report for all years) with Turkish notarised translation at final registration
• Diploma equivalency certificate (Denklik Belgesi) from the Turkish Ministry of National Education or a Turkish embassy/consulate, required to complete final enrolment
• Results of any examination the applicant is applying with (the site names SAT, YÖS, A-Levels, International Baccalaureate, Abitur, Tawjihi, Konkur and other recognised national school-leaving exams)
• Language proficiency certificate, if held
• Deposit payment receipt
• Turkish residence permit card, if already held
• Mandatory health insurance, arranged and paid at the university
• Visa used to enter Türkiye and the entry stamp, presented at final registration
